The project drafts the prototype of a school setting for digital lessons. Students focus on their wishes for the future in (artistic) videos.
A prototype of an innovative school setting, the “future classroom” explores increasing digitisation of schools and its effects on children’s personality development. Complementing the built “future classroom”, the aim is to elaborate projects themed around “culture makes urban future” that invite people to take part in the process of shaping society.
“future classroom” offers young people the opportunity to explore their personal wishes for the future: on the one hand with the aid of video interviews with mentors, but also as part of a video workshop and by means of their own creative video work.
The finished videos will be screened and discussed at a public event in the forecourt of St. Leonhard primary school. The project will be documented on an online platform that participants can upload their videos to. Artist duo Luma.Launisch will create a final film artwork based on the contributions.
