Flowers of Change

The “Flowers of Change” project by the French artist Pierre Estève is set to blossom at the Klanglicht 2020 event.

Taking an unusually poetic approach, the art installation combines community work, integration and art, at the same time reflecting on topics of sustainability and environmental protection. In workshops with children, young people, teachers and all manner of art enthusiasts, the aim is to make elaborate plastic “flowers” using previously collected plastic bottles.

Pierre Estève will personally instruct the workshop leaders in the art of making the floral art objects. The flowers created in the workshops will be spread out across all districts and set up as a light installation.
